Messy piles of drainage pipes not only look untidy, but they can also cause a trip hazard and puts the pipes at risk of damage from moving equipment and warping in direct sunlight.
With this new extra-wide version of our popular SiteStak system, you can now forklift the whole pack of pipes directly into the back of the SiteStak workstation before cutting the bandings off. This then contains the pipes securely and ensures they are stored in a flat position preventing pipe warp.
STEP 1: FORKLIFT THE FULL PACK OF PIPE INTO THE BACK OF YOUR EXTRA-WIDE SITESTAK WORKSTATION
This saves time compared to manually loading pipes into the SiteStak by hand. It also makes sure they are stacked neatly in one place and later, they can be moved along with the fittings and bends needed to install the pipework in the ground.
STEP 2: AS DEMONSTRATED IN THIS PICTURE THE PIPES CAN FIT IN WITH THE BANDING IN PLACE
As you will see in the next step however we recommend you remove the timber and bandings before fully lowering the pipes with the forks.
STEP 3: CUT THE BANDINGS AND REMOVE THE TIMBER FROM AROUND THE PACK OF PIPE
As the pack of pipes is now safely contained within the SiteStak workstation and the pipes cannot roll into a messy pile, you can cut and remove the timber and bandings and discard them into the correct waste stream.
STEP 4: YOU CAN NOW MOVE THE ENTIRE SITESTAK WITH THE PIPES CONTAINED WITHIN IT
The pipes are stored securely and can be lifted and moved across the site to the point of work, along with all of the fittings and bends required for the job. Your tools can be stored in the SiteStak workstation too.
The best thing is that it isn’t all the SiteStak workstation can do! It also gives you a place to cut and chamfer drainage pipes with a saw guide and clamp built in.
