The MuckStopper RS 400 is easily installed during the construction of the road gully. Its high-capacity steel bucket captures all silt that enters the gully but features drainage holes at the top of the bucket to allow water to spill over into the gully.
The bucket of the RS 400 should be regularly inspected and emptied as required during the road construction project. Emptying requires a machine lift, but this is easy with the MuckStopper’s integral handle and once emptied, the bucket can be dropped back into place.
Once road construction is complete, the MuckStopper is removed and the gully grate is reinstalled to fit flush with the finished surface. The MuckStopper can then be redeployed to another project.
