For more than fifty years, this company based in Germany has continually invested in manufacturing equipment to create a state-of-the-art production facility where production processes are optimised.

GRAF is one of Drainfast’s longest-standing partners, as a supplier of rainwater and stormwater management products.

Why we chose GRAF

While they may not be the most well-known manufacturer, GRAF has certainly proved to be one of the best.

By implementing outstanding quality-management practices, they have ensured that only high-quality products that satisfy required specifications are delivered to the end user. And their efficient and reliable production line ensures that this quality comes at an affordable price.

We chose GRAF because this commitment to quality, innovation and reliability perfectly aligns with the Celebrated Alternative ethos.

Products

With many years of manufacturing experience behind them, GRAF has been able to make bold innovations in its products.

Rainwater harvesting tanks are conventionally rotationally moulded, but the injection moulding process offers a far greater degree of stability and dimensional accuracy. To exploit this technology, GRAF commissioned the development and construction of the world’s largest injection moulding machine to produce its Carat rainwater harvesting tank – the largest produced using this technique.

This kind of innovation has led GRAF to become the market leader for rainwater harvesting systems in many countries.

The main product supplied to Drainfast by GRAF is their 300-litre RainBloc soakaway (attenuation) crate.  These heavy-duty crates can reduce localised flooding during heavy rainfall events by improving surface water infiltration, allowing water to soak away or be collected and pumped out for further use.

The blocks that form the crates can be clipped together to form a matrix, which can be strategically placed under car parks, sports pitches, drives and other areas where water would otherwise collect.

By implementing water attenuation, rainwater can be gradually released into the soil. This prevents flooding while maintaining a balanced moisture level in the soil.

Rainwater harvesting is another area where natural resources can be harnessed and used more sustainably, collecting water during wet spells and using it for irrigation during drier seasons or as greywater for domestic, agricultural or industrial use. Drainfast supplies GRAF rainwater harvesting tanks to order.

Buying GRAF water management products from Drainfast gives you:

  • Wide selection of rainwater harvesting tanks for domestic, commercial and industrial use

Innovation

With many years of manufacturing experience behind them, GRAF has been able to make bold innovations in its products. For example, GRAF commissioned the development and construction of the world’s largest injection moulding machine to produce its Carat Rainwater Harvesting tanks. It’s the largest tank to be manufactured by injection compression moulding – a technique which gives the tank unbeatable stability and product accuracy. This kind of innovation has led GRAF to become the market leader for Rainwater Harvesting Systems in many countries.
