Building a strong partnership with Harringtons Builders
With over fifty years of experience in A-grade commercial, industrial and residential projects, Harringtons Builders plc of Wembley, Middlesex, was an early adopter of the SiteStak system, playing a part in testing and developing this innovative site storage product.
The principle behind SiteStak is to combine centralised, secure mobile storage for plastic drainage pipework and fittings on construction sites with a purpose-built workstation for cutting and preparing pipe before installation.
This concept was driven by the wastage of time and materials when these are stored randomly around a site. Pipes were being damaged by heavy machinery, fittings were being mislaid or abandoned if not used, and trip hazards were created.
With SiteStak, pipework is cut at the point of storage. Longer lengths can be put back into storage, and offcuts can be safely discarded at a single point. Surplus fittings can be returned to the storage unit for later use. And when the job is complete, SiteStak and its contents can be redeployed to the next site for immediate serviceability.
